Rep. Omar Reacts to Feds’ Home Search: ‘I Will Not Be Silenced’
Source: NBC News
Summary
Rep. Ilhan Omar is responding after federal agents searched her home in Washington, D.C., on Monday morning, posting on social media “Make no mistake, this is an attempt to target political enemies.” The Justice Department is calling it part of an ongoing criminal probe, but Omar’s supporters accuse the Trump administration of a blatant abuse of power, less than three weeks before the midterm elections. NBC’s Kelly O’Donnell reports for TODAY.
